Before and After.

Having just come through the "warmest" winter on record Mother Nature seems to have bypassed a few weeks - remember the daffodils on Christmas Day? In the park the stag are casting their antlers at least a month earlier than is usual.
This is not a particularly good photo but it does show that some stag have not only shed their antlers, they are already growing their new ones.
