Snowy book day

World book day
We got all dressed up and looked out the window to see a thick blanket of snow, still falling fast. half anticipated School to announce closure but they confirmed they were opening as normal so off I went with my knight and ladybird. An hour later school had changed their minds and we were back to collect them! Shane they didn't get to enjoy the book day activities but we we played out In the snow instead. Dylan decided he wanted to build a snowman first. Then do snow angels. Then a snowball fight. Finally sledging. We achieved his wish list but after 10 minutes in the freezing sleet with the sledges they were both screaming with cold hands and feet so we retreated back home for hot chocolate and a film under sofa blankets.
