Tents

A busy but lovely day which started with Reception Class assembly. I was in charge of IT which involved putting the right powerpoint up on the whiteboard and playing the right song at the right time. It's more stressful than it sounds, particularly when you're having to do it in front of the whole school, teachers and parents.
Mother's Day assembly is a huge deal at our school. All the mums get a posy of flowers and there were a lot of tears, especially at the children's rendition of 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow.'
After that I picked my parents up and we whizzed over to my brother's to do a few hours babysitting for Louis and Roan.
We had a lovely time reading stories, playing with cars and Louis was delighted with Alfie's old didicar and went for a long ride on it with grandpa struggling to keep up.
Hopefully the boys should be nicely worn out this evening. I know I am!
