The Visit

Today we went out to visit folk in the Parish.  However two of them were across in Hoy visiting CMC’s mother.  The other two were away doon tae Aberdeen to uplift a vehicle.  When we got home we had a visit from other folk in the Parish (both in their upper eighties and still driving and good going and totally witty) who said they had visited us twice this week but could never get us in.  This proves a) there are more than six folk in the Parish and b) we stay in a large Orkney Parish.  I took this quick snap on another visit within the Parish.  That’s surely enough visiting foe meantime.  All of the news that was exchanged will never feature on the Scottish Six, the Ten O’clock News, Newsnight or the Channel 4 News.  However it should do as it’s infinitely more interesting.  The snouts - in - the - trough editors are missing out; e.g. the news of Ma McLeod’s new hens is going round the Parish like wild fire.  And as for Danny the Postie..........
