Yesterday started out as uneventful...on my way home from work, I got a phone call from someone that I least expected...kind of ruined my evening plans. I wanted to get some grocery shopping done, do some prep work, catch up on emails. Its one of my pet peeves, people dropping by without calling, come on, is a little consideration too much to ask for?!

It was a quick dinner with a family member, he just flew in town, we talked, and he was back on a plane. Sometimes things are better that way. He's not on my good side right now, but I agreed to give him an hour of my time. I don't like having toxic people in my life and he's been turning into one lately. Over stepping his boundaries with me. Sometimes certain conversations require face to face time. Glad we talked things out.

Going out tonight with friends for drinks....3 day work week but its been a hell of a week! Just haven't been in the work mood. I spent about two hours yesterday planning my Phoenix business trip - we have to work with our corporate travel agent, so it took a while to find a flight that didn't take me all the way around the US. Trip should be productive - all work unfortunately, no play this time.
