Gummer's How

Lunch with a dear friend at a lovely local hotel.  I hadn’t seen her for a while and it was good to catch up and hear her news.  It was all very relaxed and warm and we sat in the Conservatory and were able to watch the boats on the lake and the changing light.


Afterwards I drove up to Gummer’s How at the southern end of Windermere for a blip.  A bit grey but still quite nice and there was still quite a bit of snow on the distant fells.
