Special Delivery

We had a pleasant journey home from Palm Springs today. The drive from the Airstream trailer to the airport only took half an hour in light traffic. Our flight was on time and the airplane was only about one third full, so we had a vacant seat next to us. I can't remember the last time that happened.

The 2.5- hour flight was uneventful. After retrieving our car just a few yards from the airport terminal, I chose the scenic route home with views of Bellingham Bay, stopping at the Co-op for groceries, a latte, and beer (of course).

While we were having dinner our next-door neighbor brought our mail in a shopping bag. Roscoe came along to welcome us home.
