Red Wing Blackbirds

The male Blackbirds were very vocal today at Bethany Lake.  The females where hanging around too, but they were very quiet. 
The song sparrows were also singing. It was a lovely place to be during the sunny part of today. 
The eagle nest is coming along nicely; it is definitely visible from the road now. The pair were bringing in more and more branches; it doesn't look like the wind blew any of the nest away. Look at the extra photo to get an idea of our view of the nest
