A glimpse of the sun...

...in an otherwise snowy day - and I had to dig the camera out of my pocket pretty quickly to catch it here!
Poured with rain all night, but it had eased this morning so we set out to ski on the Blackcombe side of the mountain, after enjoying a hearty breakfast.
Snow and wind on high, and poor visibility at times, so after a few hours we headed across the Peak to Peak lift and skied down ready to call it a day. It was a lovely run, however, so we had a late lunch in the valley and headed back up again. We were rewarded for our persistence by a visitation from the sun, and excellent all round visibility - an excellent run to end the day!
