Mystery stone

This is likely the last in my series of brooch pictures.

I bought this piece as a quartz brooch but I'm thinking that maybe it's tourmaline because of the odd rainbow colours throughout it when it captures the light in certain ways.

The rainbows colours are dominant in dark pink/ fuscia and a bottle petrol green. At its most bland it is a yellowy slightly smoky Quartz colour. Definitely not citrine in my opinion.

It's a long shot but do any fellow blippers have any ideas? I'd love to solve the mystery!
