World Book Day Nothing Like a Good Read At Bedtime

I don't usually do this sort of blip but have decided that this time it is too important not to.

It's been quite a few days.  Together with Treshnish  and some other really good people, we have formed the Mull & Iona Libraries Action Group. A big thank you to them and to Alasdair S for working through the night to get the  film of the views of some of the pupils at the school  edited in time for today.  So far we've made The Herald, The Press & Journal, and For Argyll, with more in the pipe line.  Councillors, MSPs and our MP have all been emailed.  If you have the time do visit out Facebook page (link through the group name), read our press release, and please like and share our posts and watch the film.  People across Argyll and Bute need all the support they can get for this campaign and hopefully this is just the beginning of a successful campaign to overturn an appalling decision.  If it isn't this will set a dangerous precedent for the rest of Scotland.
