Stair Rods

You don't expect this when you read the travel brochures so here we were at the top of Singapore's shopping mecca, Orchard Road when the heavens opened! In a couple of minutes we were soaked but not the locals! Quick as a flash, out came the brollies and life went on about it's busy business.

Back at the hotel looking liked drowned rats we were told, "Oh you can expect that about 4pm every day between December and March - the Monsoon period". And then they sold us a brolly! It was a nice brolly with a fancy hotel crest, cost an arm and a leg but was a very good investment!
