A few Love Affairs to remember

Today we said goodbye to the last of our four pets, Frosty. She was one of the little girls of Hooligan and Nicka. (Italian Greys)
In the image she is together with the love of her life, Deedle, the Dane. They virtually grew up together and while he became a giant and she remained the ever demure Missy.
A similar heart condition to that of her Mom, Nicka, that we only knew about for the last few months, eventually took its toll. Today was not easy, seeing her suffer and being very uneasy, and breathing with great difficulty.
The kind vet did what he had to do, and very soon she was out of her misery.

We loved our pets, and today was really the end of an era in our household. They have filled out lives with so much joy, and we are thankful to have had them as four legged companions!
