How....

.... can you look so beautiful, just sat eating your supper with hair bedraggled after swimming? Several times today she's looked at me and I've realised how fast the little girl is slipping away. Her face has changed again recently. Isn't incredible to watch these tiny humans? 

Swimming after school for the final week in her current grade. They had a great time. Lots of races, lots of sillies, but also some really big effort. In one of the races they had to swim with a brick. In one of them they had to turn from front to back with every stroke. In one of the games they had to do this funny wee dive and for bricks from bottom of the deepest part of the pool. She's ready for this last grade. 

When we got home, she did a second music practise. She is working hard as she's decided to learn a piece to play for Granny for Mother's Day. Also, she has her first solo piano competition in just over two weeks and her teacher challenged her to play the pieces from memory. She accepted the challenge and is rising to it admirably!
