SWI

First Wednesday of the month is the WI meeting. The competition this month was a Victoria sponge. Mine was made at 9pm last night and was all a bit rushed, then I forgot to put it in a box - it was a little dry! I had the joy of discovering a bad egg half way through making it too (and yes, I had done the egg floating test :-/) - I threw it in the garden in a panic of horrid smell not knowing what to do with it! Grim!
The boys were glad that the sponge was big enough that there is plenty left for their afternoon snack :-D
