Streaky skies at the Cowrie Hole

It was battle stations when I heard those magic words "there are clouds on the horizon" at the 6 am surf report.  It is still before first light then so if you are quick you can make it to the beaches that are close before first light.  So this is what I found at the Cowrie Hole this morning.  A few surfers too and lots of people with phones or cameras capturing the sunrise.

I heard a most inspirational speaker, Kirrily Dear, talk about her run to raise awareness and money for White Ribbon (against domestic violence) this evening.  It certainly made me think after watching a short film about her run called Iceberg.
