Zagros Mountains

Our flight path for the second half of the trip took us over a group of countries that I don't think we would ever consider visiting and it was interesting that even though it was daytime, the window shades were brought down as soon as we got into the Iran/Iraq airspace. I did like what the blue tint did to the image of the mountains below us though.

Doha airport was pretty impressive but we were in and out pretty quickly so didn't have much time to explore.

Surprise number one done, the expression on Duncan's face was priceless.

Fun and games with the kids left us all knackered so we were grateful to fall into bed for some much needed shut eye.
