Montparnasse

J and I had dinner out near here (at Chez Marcel on rue Stanislas which I highly recommend). It was raining when we got there and raining when we left. We will have been married for 20 years (!) on July 25th so we took advantage of being in Paris to have a celebratory dinner. It's not been a easy year for J - he did 6 trips between Paris and Toronto! - and I'm very grateful to him for his unfailing support of my crazy project (which is entirely consistent with his continuous support over the past two decades).

Earlier in the day... more packing and cleaning but also a little jaunt out to the Musée Marmottan Monet for a quick visit and re-visit of the Berthe Morisot show.
