Dark day

It was so very dark this morning that we had all the lights on. Cold heavy rain beat against the Windows. Very depressing.
But it all got brighter when the postman arrived and brought us two invitations. We are invited to a Golden Wedding party in May and an 80th birthday party in July! Time was when we went to weddings and 21st birthday parties. Now it's Golden Weddings and 80th birthdays!
