Blustery Day

We went on the annual Llanelli Ramblers Cawl Walk today.The weather was terrible first thing this morning but by the time we set out the rain and sleet had stopped and it was cold and very windy. Unfortunately it was too windy to take the usual beach part of the route as we would have been totally sand blasted but we admired the rough sea and then completed the walk through Pembrey Forest,see extra for the swaying tall trees. We were rewarded at the end with a delicious bowl of cawl with bread and cheese and a Welsh cake. Struggling to keep my eyes open now!
