A coastal stroll

Heavy snow earlier but it soon got a shift.  I’ve never worn a shift.  The cliff top path is really under water at the moment.  Met my neighbour oot with his peedie boy - a bit of light banter and the outcome is if we provide him with breakfast the morn he’ll come along and do a small joinery job.  CMC just doesn’t seem to be able to get her act together this year; despite the spokeshave I bought her for Christmas.  CMC is away across to Hoy to her mother’s to give her a hand.  I’ve been left instructions to finish the chocolate cake (there’ll be another one along in a minute).  I’ve been left in charge to make a nut loaf and a passata.  Once completed I’ll need to redecorate the kitchen.
