Growl!
This family pet, reconstructed from odd scraps of metal and miscellaneous tools, was encountered at Château Barossa during today's wine-tasting tour of the Barossa Valley.
We tasted decades old port, sparkling Shiraz, oak-aged Chardonnay, and much more. Flookily I won a blind tasting, identifying the varietal, year and alcoholic content of a rather unpleasant Sauvignon Blanc at Jacob's Creek. We dined well and visited the old German village of Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills, before returning to the city to dine splendidly on Japanese cuisine before retiring to pack our bags in preparation for tomorrow's journey to Brisbane.
