After a couple of hours on the road we thought we saw some animals by the side of the road, then our guide told us to look out for vicuñas, alpacas and llamas. The vicuñas were the first that we saw, they're not as furry as the latter two and have a longer neck (or so it seemed). Not quite as impressive as a wildlife safari in Kenya or Tanzania, but it'll do.
