Sad day

A very sad day for our family as my Uncle Brian passed away this morning. While he had been unwell it never takes away the shock of losing someone. My thoughts have been with my Auntie Sue and my cousins Liz and David.

I travelled to Bristol today for the AMOSSHE Conference which I have been looking forward to. We spent the afternoon in sessions and then had dinner on the SS Great Britain. We got to hear the full history of the boat and then explore it. It was a fantastic evening with good food and great company.

A day of mixed emotions and reflection.
