Cabbage Tree

This Cabbage tree hanging onto its seed head caught my eye at the Kaiapoi Lakes today. I guess it won't be long before the little wax-eyes will be eating the seeds.

A pleasant day out with daughter flying visiting R who seemed to be in good spirits. Lunch out, grocery shopping and some blipping for a change.
