Hundred Year Stone
We headed off to Keswick for a few days today. We had some lunch on the way at Tebay Services. The only independent motorway services in the country.
Then we went for a walk around part of Derwentwater. It was beautifully calm, but unfortunately we'd missed most of the sunshine. This sculpture was created by Peter Randall-Page, and is in celebration of one hundred years of the National Trust.
The extra is a view across the shore towards Cat Bells.
We met up with friends for a meal this evening. A really great start to our short break.
