Sounds of Bedtime

This peaty burn is right next to the bedroom window of our holiday cottage.

We were warned that there would be some noise from a nearby stream but I hadn't realised just how near it would be.

Happily it's a constant tinkle, so I did get used to it but for the first few days I'd been wishing I'd brought my earplugs.
