Happy St David's day !

Many years ago my grandparents left the Welsh Mining Rhondda valley and sought a new life in Dorset . Welsh things are still very important to us and today is St David's Day the Patron Saint of Wales . Time to get some Welsh cakes and listen to  a few Welsh songs .
Where this leek came from ?I have no idea - I think it must be something my Gran or her sister made to wear  today . I thought it would look good on the ' bible black ' bible which made me think of the prologue to Under Milk Wood  .
