lazy day ignoring all the jobs i was going to do in favour of lying on the sofa with 'ncis', followed by a rather nice dinner at vittoria's and a trip to see 'mary poppins' as a pre-birthday treat/excuse for a night out. it's less like the film and more like the book (no penguins), but it's good (esp if you're over five), and the wirework which sees MP fly over the audience at the end is fab, as is bert's dancing on the ceiling moment. oh, and if you really want a cool souvenir, you can buy parrot-headed umbrellas in the foyer...
