Just in time

Doll Number two is just about ready, although I am hastily making a cardigan for her. We will see the seven year old at the weekend, just after her birthday, and hopefully she will like the doll she requested. Beside her is the drawing that was left for me, to remind me what she had to look like. She took her ideas from the book, choosing her own colours. I'm not sure what she wanted with the hair, but we will sort that out later. I was really pleased with the dress, as it's the first time I have done colour-work like that - another steep learning curve.

It is interesting to see these dolls taking on their own characters. Here is Doll Number 1 - very different I think. I guess I might have to get started on Doll Number 3 soon!
