Central Pier, Blackpool

Today was our first of 10 days here in Blackpool. After we got settled at the B&B we had a wee rest then off to meet a Twitter pal in Lytham St Annes. The weather was not great but it was good to meet Brian after speaking to him for a good while online. We were supposed to be going to see a old school friend of mine afterwards but had to put off till tomorrow as she was still busy.

We went too Mcds for something to eat then headed back. We parked the car up in the usual garage and did some shopping on way back to the B&B. Matthew loves the trams down here do I took him on one tonight . The trams are all new now and I don't really like them now. They have none of the creaks of character of the old one and too clean and modern. Took this shot of central pier on the way by and only noticed after that the "boris bikes" were in the frame.
