Travelodge, Maidstone
Out early this morning taking Susan to work after which I called by Lidl on the way to the pool for a swim. The Travelodge building fronts onto the River Medway and has been a source of annoyance since it was built. It's not a very elegant building, stands out like a sore thumb amongst low rise buildings and has a history of inferior construction materials which caused rust streaks from the steelwork.
From the swim it was back up to school for another meeting which ended up with me having to write the required report, as it usually does. There was only time to nip back home for lunch and do a few tasks before it was out again to pick Susan up.
