Monday Morning Blues

It was an effort to get up this morning,  but I just about managed to leave the house for work on time.  Then I discovered the layer of ice which needed to be scraped off the car.  Five minutes later I was on my way.

It wasn't until I was pulling into the office car park that I remembered my laptop - yep - I'd left it lying on the floor in my lounge. Not to worry, I thought, as I could check e-mails etc on my smart phone, and I have a desktop for my main work. However, after a quick and fruitless hunt into the depths of my handbag, I realised that was in the laptop bag :((

There was no getting away from it, I had to do the 35 minute round trip back home for the forgotten devices.

Leaving the house for a second time, I spotted the blue grape hyacinths still blooming happily in the front garden, and seeing as I was already late, felt a few more minutes while I took some photos wouldn't hurt!
