Power cut!

We had a surprise when we got to school this am, there was no electricity meaning no light, heat or anything. The children went in but we later had to go and pick them up at 10.30am when it couldn't be fixed.

So an impromptu day off - we looked after Jessie, C's little friend for the day too as her Mum was at work.

C&J had a ball: park visit, favourite lunch, board games, guess who, puddle splashing in the back garden, den building and The Gruffalo film. We had a lovely time together, even if I was a bit exhausted by 3pm!

Off to Gymnastics for a rest!
