Orchestra Pit ...

... well before the curtain at the Bastille Opera House in Paris, where we attended a performance of Verdi's Il Trovatore.  (The shot was well before the curtain.)  An excellent performance, and it was fun to see the building--very modern and open. I especially enjoyed the excellent visibility between various levels in the areas outside the main auditorium--many photo-ops.
