Ardvreck Castle

Once the clan seat of the Assynt MacLeods but now sadly just a ruin (as is Calda House next door). This was just one of the many spectacular sights as we drove through yet more stunning scenery today visiting places with fantastic sounding names like Achiltibuie (Achd Ille Bhuidhe or Field of the yellow-haired boy).
