Trees
I'm not sure why I have never noticed this tree on my morning walks before. I rather like it.
Squirrel was unwell during the night and had a bit of a nose bleed - well, quite a big nose bleed judging by the state of her PJs.
SWMBO wasn't too great either so it was down to me to do the shopping as well as the dog walking, lunch making etc. (not much change there then).
I came across the men cutting up and pulling the fallen trees out of the pond. Three mature trees cut and removed in a morning ..... pretty good work I would say.
I liked the way the discolouration in the centre of the wood looked like a maple leaf (quite fitting as it was a sycamore) and one of the guys was good enough to take his chain saw and cut me a chunk. (Have a look at the bottom chunk). It was heavy carrying it home I can tell you. A couple of shallow dishes coming up I think.
I also collected a bridge and a set of steps for my ongoing series.
