Semi-Frozen

The trains were in chaos this morning, with much misinformation being bandied about. First a train had broken down and then it was a signalling failure. With no prospect of anything moving anytime soon I retreated to work from home - from where I got overtaken by events and never actually made it into the office. At least it gave me the opportunity of a small diversion on the way back.

It was a cold and still morning, with I think the heaviest frost I've witnessed all winter. It's certainly the first ice that I've seen on the tarn this year, although I'm sure I've missed some cold days when I've been away.
