The unwelcome occupants

I suspected as much, and the house clearance people confirmed it, there  were rats living in the house that my uncle and aunt had occupied.  A huge family of them living in a divan bed drawer - yuck.  They had been all over 2 floors of  the 3 storey house, you could see the holes.   I guess this is the occupational hazard of professional house clearance guys.  It ghastly to think my relatives were living in such squalor, my aunt kept saying it "was not that bad" (it was horrendous) and it took us 18m,  after her brother died to get her to move out. 
Anyway it's banquet time now for the rats.  5 visits are scheduled for the pest control guys and  I look forward to finding out how many bodies they remove.
