Trip to the Woods

Breakfast in Gloagburn, just getting there in time before breakfast stopped serving (11.30). I think breakfasts should be served all day at the weekend! It was only granola with fruit and yogurt so not sure why stop serving that.

Later picked up Mother and headed south along the a9 to Blackford to place flowers on the grave of Dad. Met the gang there and it was nice seeing Ben and Cameron placing the Daffs in the holder for their Great Grandpa....

I took mum to Auchterader to spend time catching up with her friend Lexa and I returned to join the gang for a walk. Although I had to wear my ankle boots as forgot to pack the walking shoes - numpty! We went to the woods and was shocked to see the area covered with empty beer bottles, cans and vodka bottles . There was a train ticket from the 27.2.16 saying Stirling to Gleneagles so some city boys coming to the countryside to trash it. It really annoys me seeing pretty areas ruined by mindless and thoughtless yobs leaving their crap for others to pick up. Drink yourself into a stupor but clear up afterwards!!! Morons! There were two big Tesco bags left which they had carted the drink in so we cleared the area and replaced the wooden seats back to the circle which is the photo above. I checked there wasn't needles lying about too but that was ok there wasn't .

Put the bags at the side of the road and walked back to the car and then drove up and put them into the local bottle bank. The gang went to the park and they were speaking to a guy who said that a nursery goes up there every day so glad that cleared it as that wouldn't be nice for the wee ones to see their space trashed by inconsiderate teenagers. ( ps I know not all teenagers are like that as I was one myself many years ago and I know a good few too)

Picked up mum from Lexa in Auchterarder and then back to Laura's for tea. Ben showed up his dress up darth Vader then Cameron played us a tune on the double bass and then moved on to the keyboard and we had a sing song :)

Ben has had some spots on his face and has been diagnosed as impetigo :(
