Year 6 Leaver's Play

I drove my son to Thorpe Park with his friend Andy. It took us ages to get there. He could have caught the train but I think he was a bit worried that the 2-for-1 voucher I'd given him wouldn't work. He called at 4pm to say that they would head home (the park didn't close until 6pm). They had only been on 4 rides. The park was packed with coaches of school kids and the queues for the rides were really long.
In the evening, I went to see daughter #3's leaving play. I thought I'd be really emotional but I wasn't (I probably will be at the leaver's assembly next week). She had the main part and she was fantastic. She even sang a solo. I am very proud of her. It takes guts to sing in front of all those parents. .
