Roding Valley Half Marathon - Woodford Green

Although I run a lot, and do a bit of coaching, I haven't raced a Half Marathon for a couple of years (although have trained this distance and beyond).

Reason being I had lost my confidence at the distance after a couple of bad races.
A few weeks back I took the plunge and entered this local race.
It was freezing cold, and the route was a really hilly one - but I got my best time for 6 years and within a minute of my best time at the distance.
Not only that, I really enjoyed it.
So the weekend of my Birthday, the Hammers won and I had a good race.
Onwards and upwards :-)
