It was a lovely sunny day and Mr HPW was working, so I proposed a day out to the Botanic Gardens with Alexander. After dressing once as Doctor Alan he disappeared and returned in the guise of Charlie Chaplin (I don't think he knows who Charlie Chaplin is, so I assume it was a coincidence) and refused point blank to go out.

When I pressed my point he left the room and returned holding this placard of his own design (that is the door and a key). He added the wording later with my help.

Then I forced him to go out and we had a lovely time, did some Japanese writing and origami, had a picnic and I had to force him to go home again.
