Autobiographies

'A' is for Autobiographies.

The school's Library was oficially opened today! Another important milestone in the history of our lovely new school! We are so proud!

The funds for our Library was raised by hosting 'The Cambridge Food Festival' for three consecutive years, of which this, the third year, was a huge success! Yolande Lombard is the 'founder' of the Food Festival and worked, as chairperson of the committee, tirelessly to make it the huge success it turned out to be! The funds raised were planned to be used towards a library for the school, but the results of this year's very successful festival brought in enough money to go a looooong way!

The school's management decided to name a section of the Library the 'Yolande Lombard' section, she had to choose which section, and decided on 'Autobiographies'! I was so glad, because, as much as I wanted to report about our 'Big Day' today, I could not find any of the day's activities to start with an 'A'!

Thanks Yolande, you even did that just right for me .... choosing 'Autobiographies' was just what I needed for today's Blip!! ;-)
