Road trip

Car enthusiast heaven today. Spent a long day driving a variety of old and new Vauxhalls on fabulous roads from Monaco up into the Alps. We had a lunch stop at Digne-les-Bains, and a coffee stop this afternoon at a wonderful fromagerie. As dusk fell we arrived at this old chateau hotel in Grenoble. It dates back to 1259.

The extra shot is of one of the cars we have been driving today, a mighty V8-engined VXR8. On snowy mountain roads it was ... interesting!
