Permission to Land
I read an article online about the benefits of 'back button focusing' when attempting wildlife shots. So I reset the controls on the Nikon & headed to the riverside, where I spent a happy half hour blazing away.
Certainly my pictures were better, if still a long way from perfect. The main problem was remembering to focus using my thumb instead of half depressing the shutter, but it was all good fun. I expect I'll have another go soon!
