Redshank

Went back to Cockerham today. When bird watching it is a good idea to go just before high tide. The rising water pushes the wading birds closer to the shoreline, making it easier to spot and photograph them. Get too close, however, and they clear off. 
The weather was much warmer and brighter today and there was hardly any wind. Lovely day for a walk.
