in search of snow

It was a lovely spring day down here in the lowlands. 
I had a long lie-in then we went for lunch in the Church Restaurant in town, courtesy of a generous voucher given me for Christmas . 
Afterwards, replete, we went for a drive up into the hills where the snow looked so tantalising. 
This is looking north across the Mealagh Valley. 

This evening my son and baby granddaughter skyped . Great news - they are coming to visit in a few weeks!
