Morning exercise

I was up by about quarter past seven this morning to head over to Kinghorn to watch a joint exercise between Kinghorn Lifeboat and our one with the new S92 search and rescue helicopter which has replaced rescue 177.

When I got up and realised the heating and hot water weren't on I questioned the logic of what I was doing, but I'm really glad I headed over. It was a lovely, if brisk, morning and the new helicopter was an impressive piece of kit. It has replaced the 40 odd year old Sea Kings that served the role before and looks to be state of the art kit.

We were made very welcome by the crew at Kinghorn too.
