Westhaven (Not a Cloud in the Sky)

8.8C bright and sunny. Light Westerly breeze.

Grocery shopping this morning at Sainsburys and in M&S at City Quay/Gallagher Retail Park in Dundee then we got Maeve the Deerhound from the car and had a walk up to the Howff. Just like last week half the Howff was in shadow but there was good bright light away from the tall tenement buildings at the back of the site. The grass was still frosty.

On the way back to the car we called in at HMV so I could buy the new Runrig album The Story. This one is to be the last studio album they have said. The CD cover is excellent, in book form with lots of old and new photos and a story theme. We listened to a few tracks in the car on the way home. So far so good :-)

After lunch we took Maeve for a walk. Just a 2 mile loop down to the shore road with a detour down to the beach at Westhaven then back over the railway bridge and round the main road and back home.

When we got home we sorted through some boxes of books I had brought down from the loft. There was still time to catch the charity shops open, so we took some though to a shop in Broughty Ferry. There are more boxes to look through.

Today I shall break the news a few of you have been wondering about ...
We have had an offer for our house (It was on the market one week. Two viewings. One offer ...)
We have made an offer on a house ... elsewhere. It has been accepted.
The solicitors are doing what solicitors do.
The elsewhere will be revealed shortly (there have been clues ...)
